Sketchup CutList Extension Tutorial

In this video, I go through a tutorial on using the Sketchup CutList extension. SketchUp is a free 3D modeling program and is useful for woodworking. It is extremely helpful to be able to digitally sketch out plans for upcoming builds and then be able to see the exact measurements of your design.

One issue that many woodworkers face is generating a cutlist for their projects. In the past, people have mostly had to manually lay out their cutlist, which is not only time consuming but is highly prone to mistakes. One of the worst feelings is getting home from the lumber yard or hardware store and realizing you didn't buy enough wood!
